Accra Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways after series of losses in the Ghana Premier League with a heavy win at the Golden City park against former club coach Samuel Boadu’s Berekum Chelsea.

The phobians, who had failed to win in six previous attempts at the Golden City Park in Berekum went into the match with the aim of getting the valuable points having lost their two previous premier league matches.

Coach Abubakar Quarttara’s side, who are placed on the bottom side of the League log fancied a win to revive their hopers of a better position in the ongoing league season

Without wasting much time, Hamza Issah put his side ahead with only 16 minutes of Play to the shock of the home side who were in total control of the game.

The former Ghana Premier League champions held onto their lead to end the first half.

after recess, Home side Berekum Chelsea lifted their game in an effort to get the equalizer, but it was the phobians who looked more purposeful upfront.

Attacking enforcer Linda Ntange doubled the Accra Based side’s lead with a beautifully taken goal in the 59th minute, Hearts of Oak did not relent on the two goals, and moved to get more goals with Coach Quattara pushing more men into attacking space, this system proved worthy with Cisse Kassim adding the third goal in the 83rd minute to cement their win.

The win lifts Accra Hearts of Oak to the 11th position with 38 points.
