Prophesy of a ‘dead man’, ‘Resurrected’  Ghana Coach Otto Addo proclaims Black Stars AFCON qualification

‘Resurrected’ Black Stars Coach Otto Addo believes his side will make the 2025 AFCON finals in Morocco despite their third position on the table with 2 games to go.

Otto Addo who went ‘AWOL’ after the black Stars disastrous  performance against  Sudan in the Qualifiers believes his side has a mathematical chance of making the competition, hoping Sudan lose their next games.

Speaking for the first time since the team’s defeat, Otto Addo said he went completely dead after the shocking results.

“To be honest, I felt dead the last two days [after the defeat to Sudan],” Addo said in an interview with Ghana FA media.

“But now I’ve received a lot of positive feedback and support from family and friends. This is the time when I need them, and I believe all the players and the entire team need it as well. This support has brought me back on track,” Addo added.

Ghana need to win their last two games against Angola in Luanda and Niger at home in Accra and then hope Sudan lose their remaining games against Angola and Niger before they can qualify to play in the next AFCON.
