Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has been formally informed of the passing of Daasebre Osei Bonsu II, Occupant of the Silver Stool, in line with Asante tradition.
A delegation from the Mampong Traditional Council, led by Mamponghemaa Nana Agyakomaa Difie II and Ejurahene Barima Osei Hwedie II, visited Manhyia Palace on 28 April 2025 to deliver the news.
