Former President of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie has responded to the CAS rulling on the appeal he filed st the Sports apex court.
In a statement released after the Rulling, George Afriyie has accepted the decision of the Court of Arbitration of Sports insisting he takes the ruling in good faith.
“I have today received the decision of the court of Arbitration for Sports [CAS] Regarding my appeal against the decision of the elections committee of the Ghana Football Association” portions of the statement read.
“The CAS, in their decision, have upheld the decision of the elections committee of the GFA, I take the decision in Good faith”.
George Afriyie further expressed his sincere gratitude to the CAS and the Ghanaian people for their support.
“I Express my sincere gratitude to everyone who supported me during the period” hks statement concluded.
