Black Stars coach Otto Addo in a dramatic style has snubbed West Ham star Mohammed Kudus in the double cliffhanger clash against Angola and Niger in the quest to qualify to the AFCON in Morocco.
The Tactician has removed Kudus from the captaincy role of the team, and handed Jordan Ayew to mantle of leadership for the two crucial matches.
Speaking to newsmen at the naming ceremony of the squad to represent Ghana for the battle of the last spot in the AFCON Qualifying group, Otto Addo said he spoke both players on the need to take the captain’s arm band from Kudus and hand Ayew the responsibility of carrying Ghana’s fortunes in the make or break assignment.
Reports from section of the media indicated coach Otto Addo apologized to Jordan Ayew before taking the crucial decision.
