Ghana has qualified for yet another World cup after berating Morocco to win the 2024 Africa Amputee Football championship

The Black Challenge, who were defending their title went into the game as favorites, and proved their worth and experience.

The team conceded first but a penalty from Mohammed Mubarak restored parity.

The game saw end-to-end action, with Ghana’s goalkeeper making outstanding saves to keep the score levelled.

With no winner at the end of regulation time, the match proceeded to extra time.

Mubarak struck again early in extra time to give Ghana the lead for the first time in the game.

The Black Challenge held on to this lead, clinching the trophy at the end of extra time.

This victory in Cairo marks Ghana’s successful defense of their title, having won the last edition in Tanzania.

Additionally, this win secures their spot at the 2026 World Amputee Football World Cup in Panama.
