Women’s Football lead at the Ghana Football Associations (GFA) Communications, Matilda Dimedo, has been appointed Media Officer for the upcoming Confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifying tournament.
She is among football Officials selected from various countries by the Sub Football governing body to manage the coveted Women’s tournament to be staged in Ivory Coast this month.
Matilda Dimedo has risen through the ranks of being an astute Sports Journalist, Women’s Football Administrator and a Social Media Coordinator.
She is the Media Officer for Ghana’s Senior Women National Team, the Black Queens.
She is expected to bring her vast experience in professional media management skills in assisting and directing media operations during the tournament, while providing the media with all the necessary assistance to make their work smooth.
The CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifying tournament is scheduled to kick off from 10th -23rd August, 2024.
