Historic – Disjointed Asante Kotoko records club’s Worst Ghana Premier League Season in 89 Years

Asante Kotoko has now recorded its worst performance in a single Ghana Premier League season after losing to Dreams FC at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu.

The Porcupine Warriors secumbbed to a 2-0 defeat to the CAF Confederation cup semi finalist in the Week 26 class of the 2023/24 season.

The Results means the Kumasi based club have now lost 11 times this season, making it most loss of the club since its formation in 1935.

Asante Kotoko’s previous worst record in a single season came in the year 2000, and 2006 when the Club lost 10 times in those seasons, and ending the year with a 5th snd 3rd place finished respectively.

The club are now placed 11th in the Ghana Premier League with 8 games to end the season.

The result also leaves the club no win in 7 matches, becoming the worst side in the second round of the Ghana Premier League
