Officials of the Ghana Football Association led by Executive council member Nana Sarfo Oduro, General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, and the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Evans Opoku Bobie were chased away by angry protestors at the Independence Square
The GFA Officials who had gone to the protest grounds to receive the petition on behalf of the Association were met with hoots, and shouts by the protestors who insisted they leave the grounds.
It took the combined efforts of the security from the Ghana Police Service and some persons to save them from getting physically attacked.
According to the protestors, the GFA and the Ministry are the principal culprits in the current state of Ghana Football.
