The Ghana Football Association has declared it accountability status going into the New year 2025 with a Clear message to Ghanaians on New Year eve.
Declaring the Position of the Association relative to financial and Business accountability, An Executive Council member of the Association, Nana Sarfo Oduro: Minced no words by declaring the Association is only accountable to its members.
Nana Sarfo Oduro l, who was on Asempa FM to stste the Operations of the Association maintained they are their Own masters, and not Accountable to any external force i cluding Supporters.
“The Ghana Football Association is accountable to the football people. It is an organization. We are accountable to each and every football club. The association is made of individual clubs. We are not accountable to supporters or Ghanaians,” he told Asempa FM.
Stating his Position and thst of the Association, Nana Sarfo told Show Host Enoch Worlanyo Wallas, that when it comes to the Accountability of the State of Affairs and the running of Football in Ghana, the GFA only Responds to its Members, and not Supporters or the Public.
He stressed that the Annual budget and audited accounts is sent to members for their Input, because they are the custodians of the Association.
